Frequently Asked Questions

All of Undring's pieces are made (mostly) by hand, and naturally have little imperfections and details unique to each piece. If your question isn't answered below, please email me to chat about it: morgan@undringstudio.com

Ordering & Making

Are your pieces one-of-a-kind?

Yes and no. Everything I offer is, by the nature of how they are made, one-of-a-kind. All core collection pieces are made to order and were designed by me, cast by my casting house, and then finished by me. All limited collection pieces are truly one-of-a-kind and are not repeatable.

Across the board, all of the stones used will vary naturally. I carefully select each and every stone, and like the subtle variations between them.

How long until my order is made and shipped?

Everything is made slowly and to order. This prevents making too many pieces at a time and prevents unnecessary waste.

Please allow 3-6 weeks for a piece to be made before it ships.

Certain pieces — especially custom pieces — can take a little longer. If the time to shift is outside that expectation, I'll always let you know.

If you need something expedited, write to me at morgan@undringstudio.com and I'll do what I can to arrange it.

Do you take custom requests?

Yes! I would love to collaborate with on a piece completely unique to you and your story. However, I do not replicate or riff on other's designs. Customs are always done within my design language.

Write to me at morgan@undringstudio with what you have in mind and we'll see what's possible together.

Custom pieces start at $250. The final price will depend on the materials used and the process and time required.

Shipping

Where do you ship, and how?

I ship via USPS, FedEx, and UPS within the U.S. and DHL, USPS, and FedEx for international orders.

Orders go out within 2 business days of being finished, and you'll receive tracking once yours is on its way.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we ship to the UK, Europe, and Canada. Any customs fees, duties, or import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

What can't be returned?

The following are final sale: commissioned and custom pieces (including custom sizing or stone selection), resized pieces, international orders, and anything marked final sale. If a piece comes back worn or damaged, I won't be able to accept it.

Returns, Exchanges & Sizing

Do you accept returns?

I want you to love your piece. If an unworn piece just isn't for you, write to me at morgan@undringstudio.com within 7 days of delivery.

I look everything over very carefully before it ships, but In the event, that a piece arrives broken or defective, let me know within 7 days of receiving the item.

For all returns: items must be undamaged and in their original packaging, and buyer covers return shipping (a reliable, insured carrier is best).

Please tuck in a note with your name, order number, and contact information.

Custom orders are final sale and are not eligble for returns.

Do you offer refunds?

Because each piece is made by hand, I don't offer refunds — but I'm happy to issue store credit for the original cost of an eligible returned piece, good for one year from the date it's issued. Exchanges can sometimes be arranged case by case; just reach out.

Repairs

Do you offer repairs?

Very likely. If a piece is damaged through normal wear and tear, I'll repair it free of charge within the first 3 months (you cover postage).

Beyond that, write to me with a photo and what happened, and I'll give you a fair quote before I begin.

Normal wear and tear does not include:

  • Snapped chains or clasps
  • Bent rings
  • Broken earring posts or backs
  • Chipped or lost stones
  • Natural oxidizing of metal

I only repair pieces made in my own studio, and I'm not able to work on a piece that's been altered by another jeweler.

A note on delicate materials.

Some materials like stones, shells, and softer beads, are fragile by nature and can't always be repaired once broken. Handle these with extra care; I'm not able to offer credit for breakage that happens after a piece with these fragile materials leaves the studio.
